The Super League newcomers are understood to want him on board for 2021.

Flower is out of contract with Wigan at the end of this campaign.

And, at 32, he may be tempted by a move to the Wolfpack, who are based in Manchester when in the UK.

Toronto were only formed in 2017 but swept through the leagues to reach the top-flight this season.

They hadn’t won any of their games before the season was halted due to the coronavirus pandemic, but it is thought relegation will be scrapped at the end of this year because the season has been so heavily compromised – and they are already making plans for 2021.

Leeds’ Stevie Ward is also on their wanted list.

Flower has given Wigan good service since he arrived from Celtic Crusaders in 2012, winning three Grand Finals and a World Club Challenge.

But the Warriors are well-stocked for props and have a clutch of promising forwards emerging from the juniors ranks.
