Wigan Warriors unlikely to make any more signings

Kris Radlinski says it is unlikely Wigan will be making any more signings before the new season.

He has not completely ruled out the possibility of strengthening Adrian Lam’s squad before the 2021 campaign starts.

But he has little room to manoeuvre under the £2.1m salary cap limit.

“I’ve not much room, someone would have to go first,” he said, when asked about the prospect of any more signings.

The Warriors have already revealed their first-team squad list for the 2021 campaign.

It includes new recruits Jai Field and John Bateman, while Joe Burgess (Salford), Ben Flower (Leigh), Joe Greenwood (Huddersfield) and the retiring Sean O’Loughlin are among those who have left. Prop Brad Singleton was added to the squad late into last season.
