Wigan Warriors retain League Leaders' Shield as Women's Super League Grand Final details confirmed
Wigan Warriors have reached the Women’s Super League Grand Final!
Wigan Warriors have retained the League Leaders’ Shield while securing their place in this year’s Women’s Super League Grand Final.

The Warriors produced a hard-fought performance at Edge Hall Road Community Stadium on Saturday, with Denis Betts’ side beating Leeds Rhinos 26-20 in a result that saw them clinch the League Leaders’ Shield for a second year in a row.
As a result of winning the League Leaders’ Shield and finishing top of the Super Four league, Wigan have earned a bye straight through to the Grand Final, which they will host at the Brick Community Stadium on Sunday, September 27, 5:30pm kick-off. The Grand Final will also be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Betts’ outfit will face the winner of the 2nd v 3rd place play-off, which will be confirmed at the conclusion of the Super Four period.
The Warriors Women enjoyed a historic campaign in 2025 as they completed the quadruple, having wrapped up the Challenge Cup, Nines title, League Leaders’ Shield and Grand Final.
And they have now added their second piece of silverware to a memorable 2026 campaign, having retained the Challenge Cup at Wembley Stadium back in May. The Warriors will now turn their focus to defending their Super League crown as they aim to go back-to-back as champions.
The Warriors will discover their Grand Final opponents on September 18 when the sides finishing second and third meet in the semi-final for the remaining place in the Grand Final.
Tickets for the Women’s Super League Grand Final are on sale now, with unreserved seating available in the Sir Billy Boston East Stand of the Brick Community Stadium. Tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £5 for juniors. Tickets are available centrally from RL Commercial online.
