Wigan Warriors predicted team v Catalans Dragons as Liam Farrell return and back-row options explored

Will captain Liam Farrell return? Who will start in the back-row? What will the bench look like? Here is our predicted Wigan Warriors team that will host Catalans Dragons at the Brick Community Stadium on Friday night.

Wigan coach Matt Peet has made two changes to his 21-man squad that enjoyed a 40-8 victory over Leeds Rhinos last Saturday, with Farrell and Josh Cartwright replacing Jake Wardle (calf) and George O’Loughlin (quad). Let’s get into our predicted Warriors line-up, shall we?

17. Sub: Liam Farrell

Farrell has been out of action since June 27 due to a neck issue, but has been named in the 21-man squad this week. Hopefully the 36-year-old can enjoy a fitting end to his trophy-laden career before he hangs up his boots. | Allan McKenzie/SWpix.com
