All four had been loaned to crisis-hit Leigh for one week among fears the Centurions would be unable to raise a side for the final.

Jack Owens and Matty Dawson scored Leigh’s only tries in the loss, which wraps-up their season.

Uncertainty still surrounds Leigh as owner Derek Beaumont has made clear his intentions to step away from the club, which is still looking for new investment.
