Liam Farrell and George Williams are in line to face Scotland at the Ricoh arena, with John Bateman and NRL-bound Dan Sarginson, who played in the 17-16 loss to New Zealand last week also being named in Wayne Bennett’s 19-man squad.

Williams and Farrell were named in the 19 for last week’s opener, but missed the cut with Bennett settling on his matchday 17 last Friday.

But Bennett, who has brought Mark Percival and Scott Taylor into this week’s 19, has said Williams will ‘definitely’ feature against Scotland.

“I saw George play in the Super League Grand Final a few weeks ago and he’s a quality player. He’ll definitely be playing this weekend,” said the coach.

“He’s been working hard in training with the players showing the coaching staff what he can do and what he’s capable of.”
