Twelves coaches who have left British rugby league to coach in rugby union

Sean Long has become the latest name to leave British rugby league and coach in rugby union.

The New Zealand international made 147 appearances in a Wigan shirt, and is currentlyon Canadas national RU coaching staff
The former Wigan half-back is part of the Leicester coaching staff, as well as taking temporary charge of Germanys national RU side
Edwards made a U-turn on his decision to return to hometown club to stay in union. He is on the coaching staff at Wales until the end of the World Cup

The former scrum-half left his role as Wigan assistant coach to join Sale Sharks, where he is their attack/skills coach
Wane departed Wigan after beating Warrington in the 2018 Grand Final, to take up the high performance role at Scottish Rugby Union.
The Wigan-born former forward left his conditioning role at the Warriors to join Sale Sharks, where he is now defence coach.
He switched codes to league for a then-world record fee of 27,000, the Welshman is currently the director of rugby at Doncaster RU.
