The organisers of a popular beer festival have announced the dates of the 34th annual event.

The 2025 Bent and Bongs Beer Bash will take place from Thursday, February 6 to Saturday, February 8 at the customary location of Atherton Roller Rink.

Thousands of people usually enjoy a tipple – with cask beers, craft beers, foreign beers, ciders and a gin bar at the 2024 event – while there was also food and live music.

Visitors will be given a souvenir glass when they enter for them to use throughout their stay, and are theirs to keep afterwards if they wish.

Payment at the bar is by tokens. As well as an extensive choice of drinks, a caterer will be on hand to feed guests when they get peckish.

The roller rink is on Bolton Road, Atherton, M46 9JQ, which is less than half a mile from Atherton railway station

More than £500,000 has been raised over the years to support good causes.
