Noel Coward's ghostly comedy Blithe Spirit will be the next show by Leigh's St Joseph's Players
Leigh’s St Joseph’s Players will perform Blithe Spirit, by Noel Coward, later this month.

Noel Coward’s Blithe Spirit, performed by St Joseph’s Players and directed by Barbara Mayers, promises to be a perfect blend of chaos, charm and laughter.
The story follows novelist Charles Condomine, who invites eccentric medium Madame Arcati to conduct a séance for research inspiration.
But when the ghost of his first wife Elvira unexpectedly appears, what follows is a chaotic love triangle where life, death and hilarity collide.
Chairperson Gabrielle Fitzsimmons said: “Coward’s writing is as witty and wickedly funny now as it was when first performed in 1941. It is a joy to bring this timeless comedy to St Joseph’s stage.”
Blithe Spirit runs from Tuesday, September 29 to Saturday, October 3 at St Joseph’s Hall, Leigh, with all shows starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets, priced at £12 and £6 for under 16s (PG guidance to be applied), are available at ticketsource.co.uk/st-josephs-players, or payable at the door.
