College delight at nomination
STAFF and students at Winstanley College are celebrating after being shortlisted for '˜Sixth Form College of the Year' in The Times Education Supplement Further Education Awards.
The prestigious awards celebrate those who have an outstanding influence on post-16 education in their area. Winstanley results were once again among the best in the contry and relains one of the most sought-after colleges for students.
More than 100 providers, individuals and teams are in the running for 14 awards, which will be presented at a ceremony in London on April 22.
The College will find out if it has made it to number one live at the event.
