Leigh-based science teacher, Addison Brown, who featured in a national Get Into Teaching TV advert which aired on TV back in January, gives us a day-by-day glimpse of what life as a teacher has been like so far during these unusual times.

Today, in his fifth and final clip, Bedford High School secondary school teacher Addison talks about looking forward to things returning to normal as the country eases itself out of lockdown.

Addison also says, that while, there has been a lot of bad, the pandemic has brought about good including a greater appreciation of NHS and key workers and a "sense of British spirit."

The 27-year-old, who recently became a father for the first time, discusses what is on his mind on a particular diary.

The videos mark Thank A Teacher Day, which was on Wednesday (May 20) - the national campaign aimed at encouraging people across the country to consider teaching as a career.
