Appeal after man hit by car
At around 12pm on Saturday May 28 a black Mercedes was seen travelling at high speed, veering in and out of traffic on the A580 in Leigh.
As traffic came to a standstill at the roundabout at the Greyhound Hotel, a driver of another car approached the vehicle on foot before the driver accelerated towards him.

The Mercedes continued to drive with the man on the bonnet of the car for about 15 to 20 metres before he was thrown to the floor.
The man was taken to hospital where he was treated for a broken hand.
The car continued to drive erratically on the A580 towards Liverpool with a smashed windscreen.
