Body found in Wigan town centre
The body of a woman was found in Wigan town centre early this morning.
Police were called to Heritage Way at around 3am to a report of concern for the welfare of a woman.
When they arrived, they found the body of a 27-year-old woman.
There were believed to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
