Canal boat 'fully destroyed' by fire

Crews from Leigh said the boat had been left "fully destroyed" following the fire at the canal on Plank Lane swing bridge.

Firefighters spent about an hour battling the fire after being called to the scene at around 8.30pm on Thursday (February 11).

An investigation into the cause of the fire has been launched.

Nobody was injured.
