Child and animal porn man spared jail

A man who admitted possessing child and animal porn has been given a suspended jailed sentence.

Arkadiusz Wyrzykowski, 46, of Gamble Street, Leigh, appeared before a Bolton judge to plead guilty to three charges of making an indecent image of a child. They concerned 80 Category A images - the most serious kind - 142 Category B and 1,169 graded as C.

Wyrzykowski also pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing eight extreme pornographic images of a person performing an act of intercourse with a live unknown animal.

The court was told that at 7.45pm on February 2 2017 an IP address associated to Gamble Street, Leigh, uploaded a Category B indecent image of a child onto the internet via Facebook. On April 16 2018 police executed a search warrant at Wyrzykowski’s home and seized a quantity IT equipment which yielded 1,391 images of extreme pornography plus seven prohibited images.

The judge gave him a 12-month prison sentence for the offences but suspended it for 24 months. He must also carry out 120 hours’ unpaid work and a 24-day rehabilitation activity requirement. He must also sign on the Sex Offenders’ Register for 10 years and has a Sexual Harm Prevention Order against him for the same period.
