Conditional discharge for Wigan man after he assaulted woman

A man who admitted assaulting a woman by beating her has been given a conditional discharge.

Lewis Slatter, 27, of Lord Street, Hindley, attacked the woman in Hindley on May 12.

Wigan magistrates imposed a six-month conditional discharge and ordered him to pay £85 prosecution costs and a £26 victim surcharge.
