Court convicts Wigan woman of handling stolen goods from WHSmith

A 52-year-old Wigan woman has been convicted of handling goods that were stolen from WHSmith.

Stephanie Holden, 52, of Warrington Lane, Wigan, had denied receiving scratch cards and confectionary of value unknown on October 7 2020.

But she was found guilty by Wigan and Leigh magistrates after a trial at the court.

Holden was ordered to complete 15 days of rehabilitation activities and pay a total of £445 in the form of a fine, victim services surcharge and court costs.
