Four arrested for robbery after joint operation by Lancashire and Greater Manchester police

Lancashire and Greater Manchester police teamed up today to arrest four robbery suspects.

Officers stopped a car being followed from Lancashire using a "stinger".

The operation ended near Moss Bank Way, Bolton, today (Friday) and also involved the police helicopter to track the suspects after they fled.

GMP Traffic police tweeted: "Fantastic join effort between ourselves and @LancsRoadPolice.

"This afternoon Yaris stolen by means of robbery followed by Lancs Tac Ops into Bolton.

"Stung by #ME11 near Moss Bank Way. Following abandonment occupants tracked by @NPASNorthWest.

"Four detained for robbery."
