Man admits carrying makeshift spear in town centre

Wigan justices heard Nicholas Taylor, of Church Street, Leigh, was arrested after being spotted in the library car park on St Mary’s Way on April 24 toting a long stick with a knife blade attached to the end of it. The 32-year-old will be sentenced by a Bolton judge on November 13.
