Man arrested and large quantity of cannabis recovered in Wigan

A man has been arrested after officers recovered cannabis in Wigan.

Police were called to an address in Standish, on Monday morning (January 25), in relation to drug activity in Ince connecting a suspect.

A large amount of cannabis was recovered from the property, according to a spokesman for the Wigan West division of Greater Manchester Police.

They said: "The suspect was arrested and interviewed.

"Enquiries are ongoing."
