Man denies hit-and-run involvement

Harry Dandy, 20, of Lily Lane, Bamfurlong, appeared before Wigan justices to plead not guilty to driving dangerously, fleeing the scene of an accident in Wyre Avenue, Platt Bridge on December 6 in which David Black was injured and a separate charge of assaulting Mr Black by beating. He was released on unconditional bail until April 28.
