Pair arrested as police seize suspected drugs hidden in Kinder Eggs

Two men were arrested after suspected Class A drugs were found hidden inside Kinder Eggs.

Officers stopped and searched a vehicle on the Higher Folds estate in Leigh.

They found and seized two Kinder Eggs, containing 78 wraps of suspected Class A drugs.

Sharing the discovery on the GMP Leigh, Atherton & Hindley Facebook page on Friday afternoon (December 4), police said that they also seized "other items as evidence of drug supply".

Two men were arrested for possession with intent to supply.

The pair have since been released under investigation whilst further enquiries can be carried out
