Pair in court charged with assaults at Wigan bar

A man and a woman accused of serious assaults in a Wigan bar will appear in court next month.

Catherine Cannon, 29, of Prestt Grove, Worsley Mesnes, is charged with assaulting Nicola Phillips, causing her actual bodily harm, at Harry's Bar, on Wallgate, on October 22.

Lee Dutch, 28, of Bracken Road, Leigh, is accused of assaulting Christopher Nye, causing actual bodily harm, in the same venue on the same day.

They will both stand before Wigan magistrates on August 22.
