A man who breached the terms of a prison licence has been remanded in custody after being found with a knife in public.

Jake Morris, 27, of Henry Street, Leigh, appeared before Wigan justices to admit having the 9ins blade on Prescott Street in Leigh on November 20. As this was a breach of the terms of his licence, he was locked up until his sentencing by a Bolton Crown Court judge on December 21.
