Trial date fixed over police assaults case

Andres Flores, 53, of Caldford Close, has denied responsibility for an incident involving two sergeants and constable on November 4 last year.

Prosecutors say that the incident was caught on police bodycam devices.

He was bailed in his absence by Wigan and Leigh magistrates to face a two-day hearing at the same venue on October 25 and 26.

An earlier trial had to be abandoned after magistrates ruled there was not enough court time available.
