Wheels stolen from car parked at a Wigan railway station

Police are appealing for witnesses after the wheels were stolen from a car parked at a Wigan railway station.

British Transport Police are investigating

The windows of an Audi A3 parked at Appley Bridge station were smashed at some point between 7.30am and 6.30pm on Tuesday, September 11.

Other news: Man wielding meat cleaver arrested at Wigan McDonald'sSomeone searched through the car to find locking wheel nuts to unlock and remove four alloy wheels.

The car, which was parked on the Wigan-bound platform, was left resting on the floor, which caused further damage.
