Wigan man charged with assault on three police officers

A man has been charged with assaulting three police officers on two separate dates.

Lee Seddon, 38, of Highfield Grange Avenue, Winstanley, is alleged to have assaulted on officer in Wigan on March 16.

He is accused of being drunk and disorderly on Wallgate, in Wigan town centre, on the same day.

Seddon also faces several charges dating back to May 15 last year.

It is claimed he assaulted two police officers, damaged a car in a racially aggravated incident and damaged a door. He is further charged with damaging the same car on May 19, 2019.

He will appear at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court on June 24.
