Wigan men ‘had illegal blinding spray’
Two men appeared in court accused of possessing a noxious incapacitent spray called Pava.

Similar to pepper spray, it can be used to blind someone temporarily and its legal use must be with the approval of the Home Secretary.
Liam Connell, 40, of Holly Road, Aspull, and Don Redcliffe, 44, of Sefton Road, Goose Green, are further charged with possessing a quantity of cocaine and £1,840 in cash which prosecutors called “criminal proceeds.”
The pair were bailed until a further appearance on November 4.
