Wigan pub stabbing trial set for March
A trial date has been set for a Wigan man accused of a vicious pub attack.
Steven Gaskell, 45, of Chapel Street, Pemberton, appeared before a Bolton judge to admit knife possession, but denied intending to cause Gary Sweeney GBH at The Old Pear Tree, Frog Lane, on September 18.
It is alleged that the complainant was punched and stabbed.
Gaskell was remanded in custody until his trial begins on March 8.
