Wigan woman denies theft and assault charges

A woman has denied theft and attack charges.

Laura Ainscough, 33, of Birch Street, Gidlow, stood before borough magistrates to plead not guilty to assault by beating and stealing candles worth £13.48 from Asda on March 3.

She was released on bail until her July 13 trial so long as she reports to Wigan police station on Mondays and does not enter Asda.
