Wigan woman escapes immediate prison term after assaulting five emergency workers

A woman who attacked five emergency workers has been spared immediate jail.

Kelly Robinson appeared before Wigan justices to admit assaulting paramedic Susan Bullock and PCs Fenny, Ryan, Canavan and Taylor plus issuing threats.

She was given 12 weeks in prison but the term was suspended for 18 months.

The 41-year-old, of Worcester Avenue, Hindley, must complete 20 days’ rehab activities and pay compensation to the paramedic plus costs and a victim services surcharge totalling £512.
