Youths are being sought by police after a car was damaged in Wigan.

Police received a report of criminal damage to the car by a group of young people in Miles Lane, Wigan, shortly before 9.20pm on Monday.

People on social media reported seeing a gang of teenagers damaging vehicles in Miles Lane, the Broomholme estate and down towards Herons Wharf.

One person said they had seen the teenagers putting cones in the middle of the road on the hill on Miles Lane.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
