On April 3, Bongo’s Bingo will be coming to The Monaco in Hindley, in a move which is likely to attract revellers from across the region.
And, just hours after the announcement, Bongo's revealed that, due to "phenomenal demand", a second date had been added for Sunday, April 12.

Hide AdFor Bongo’s is a bingo night unlike any other, which favours a nightclub atmosphere over the traditional “eyes down” bingo hall vibe. The game itself is not the main attraction. Rather, the biggest draw for attendees is the dance music, the glow sticks, and wacky prizes - Henry vacuum cleaners, boxes of Coco Pops and cardboard cut-outs of Bruce Forsyth, to name a few.
The company was founded in Liverpool in 2014 and has grown to attract world famous artists to headline its events across its 50 locations including Manchester, Amsterdam, Ibiza and even Dubai.
So it came as no surprise that John Norcott, who owns The Monaco, was eager to share the exciting news that one of the world’s most popular club nights was coming to Hindley. Mr Norcott shared the exciting news on social media, in a post which has been shared more than 500 times and attracted more than 1,500 comments and 800 “likes” from excited locals.
A spokesman for Bongo’s Bingo said: “The award-winning night out combines the traditional, much loved quaint past time with a mesmeric live show, packed full of plenty of bizarre and hilarious moments you won’t experience twice. Dance-offs, rave rounds, and weird and wonderful prizes are just a few of the key ingredients creating the winning formula for this magical night. Bongo’s Bingo offers a night full of madness, mischief and shared euphoria, with dancing and cheering under one roof to hits from across the ages all night long.”
Tickets for the highly anticipated Bongo’s Bingo Wigan debut go on sale at 2pm tomorrow, February 22, via the Bongo’s Bingo app.
