Celebrity antique expert David Harper will be special guest at opening of retirement community in Wigan

David Harper will be in Standish for the opening of McCarthy Stone’s Brideoake Court, on Wellington Place, the former site of Chadwick Family’s Fine Food Emporium.

One of TV’s best-known antiques experts and a former star of Bargain Hunt, Mr Harper will give a presentation about his life on Thursday September 8, between 2pm and 4pm.

Current homeowners at Brideoake Court will be invited to join him for the ceremonial ribbon cutting, while there will be tours of show apartments and fizz and canapes will be served to visitors.
