The star will perform “MJ The Legacy” at The Monaco in Atherton Road, Hindley, which will be a full production show with a live band and dancers.

CJ, who grew up Cheshire, has been performing as Michael Jackson for 10 years having been a fan of the star since childhood when he first saw him in concert on television.

The show is a part of the UK tour, having already performed in Moscow, Romania, Slovenia, Barcelona, Madrid and Australia.

CJ, who respects the late pop star not only for his music, but also his commitment to supporting charities and creating songs to help heal the world and save the planet, said: “I tried to dance and sing like him whenever I had the chance, watching his moves and iconic videos whilst soaking up all aspects of his incredible stage performance.

“We love to give audiences a taste of what it was like to see Michael Jackson in concert whilst delivering theatric elements to the show. Every member of the cast is a Michael Jackson fan, dedicated in keeping his legacy alive.

“For me, my best MJ moment is when he first performed Billie Jean live and gave us the famous moonwalk. It’s my favourite part of the show, because I feel a special connection with the audience during this time.”

The show is a theatrical production, which features a live band and dancers.

It respects and honours the entertainer, who died in 2009, by replicating his live performances musically, vocally and visually.

On performing in Wigan, CJ added: “We’re all looking forward to a Wigan kebab, we’ve heard they’re very good, and we’ll burn off the calories with our dance moves.

“ We’re also keen to see the dance moves from Wigan, with the local Northern Soul association being so strong, we’re looking out for some great dance moves.”
