Neighbours celebrating after scooping People's Postcode Lottery win

The Wilmot Drive neighbours netted the windfall when WA3 3YB was announced as a Daily Prize winner with the People’s Postcode Lottery on Friday.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Danyl Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners.

He said: “What a brilliant way to start the weekend! Congratulations to our winners, I hope they enjoy spending their winnings.”

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities.

Players of the People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600m to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and further afield.

This draw was promoted by WWF, which has received over £15.2m in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.

The organisation works to build a brighter future for the planet, protects endangered wildlife and educates people on how to look after nature in their own neighbourhoods.

Many good causes closer to the winners' homes have also benefited from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding from the lottery next year.
