Crews attended the semi-derelict building on Edna Road in Leigh on Monday evening, less than 48 hours after being called to the same
site.

Both incidents involved rubbish in the building, which is in the process of being demolished, being set on fire, with firefighters spending around an hour at the scene on both occasions.

The incident last weekend also involved a technical response unit from Leigh being called out to the site following initial reports there may have been people in the remains of the building, which turned out to be inaccurate.

Both incidents have now been passed on to Greater Manchester Police (GMP).
