Tailbacks following M6 crash
MOTORISTS are being urged to avoid the M6 southbound near Wigan.
Queues are currently backing up to Haydock (Junction 23) following an accident involving two cars at around 4.30pm on the Thelwall Viaduct, which is already affected by roadworks.
Queues are expected for several hours while recovery work is carried out.
