Teenager missing since Friday found 'safe and well'

Mary Ellen Roberts, 17, was reported missing after last being seen at her home in Haydock on Friday.

Merseyside Police appealed to the public for help to find her on Monday and said “extensive” inquiries to trace her were ongoing, with people asked to contact them if they knew where she was.

They reported on Thursday afternoon that the teenager had been found.
