A trucker caused a stir when he parked up at a Wigan junction and started making a full English.

Locals criticised the driver for the hazardous positioning of his HGV when he came to a standstill in Standish, pulled out a chair and prepared the meal on a portable hob in his trailer.
He then ate the meal and drove off.
One onlooker said: “The name on the trailer was ‘Acumen’, but I don’t think he was showing any great judgement by parking up for his breakfast there!”
