Two missing children found after police search
Two children who were reported missing were found following a large police operation.
Several emergency vehicles were sent to Leigh after Greater Manchester Police (GMP) received reports concerned for the youngsters' whereabouts on Wednesday afternoon.
Police arrived at the scene shortly after 3.30pm and managed to find the children safe and well around half an hour later.
The search was concentrated in the Atherleigh Way area and also along Firs Lane.
