Network problems affect mobile phone customers

Customers of a number of companies, including EE, O2, Vodafone and Three, say they were facing problems making calls and sending text messages on Tuesday.

On its website, O2 said: "We are aware that some customers may be experiencing issues with our voice service. Our technical teams are investigating. We apologise for any inconvenience."

It has caused issues for many users as it comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson urged people to work from home if possible amid the coronavirus pandemic.
