Weapons man spared jailed

A man who was found with potentially harmful weapons has been spared jail.

Michael Garrett, 24, of Walthew Green, Roby Mill, had already admitted to possession of a stun gun, possession of an offensive weapon that sprays a noxious liquid, possession of a disguised firearm and possession of cannabis.

A Bolton Crown Court judge jailed him for 12 months but suspended the sentence for two years.
