A woman missing for 24 hours has been found “safe and well” after a police appeal.

Officers earlier appealed for help to find the woman – named only as Danielle – who was last seen on Avon Road, Norley, on Monday morning.
Just over an hour after the appeal was published, police announced: “We're pleased to say Danielle from Wigan has been found safe and well after a member of the public called to say they'd seen her on the back of our plea for help.”
