Award recognition for Wigan Athletic star

Wigan Athletic star Lee Evans has been nominated for the Football League World Fans' League One Player of the Month award for April.

The Welshman has been acknowledged for his consistency of performance as Latics moved away from the drop zone in the nick of time.

Also on the shortlist are Lincoln goalkeeper Alex Palmer, Peterborough defender Frankie Kent, Oxford defender Robert Atkinson, Wimbledon midfielder Ayoub Assal and Hull striker Josh Magennis.
