Hide AdLatics secured promotion with a 4-0 win over Fleetwood Town on April 21 and they will clinch the league title tomorrow if they avoid a defeat at Doncaster.
Grigg, 26, was delighted to receive the accolade but heaped the praise on his team-mates for making it possible.
He said: “It’s great to pick up these awards but I can’t stress enough how much it’s been a team effort.
“The lads have been brilliant throughout, obviously it’s nice for me to get the goals, but it’s been a collective effort, and I wouldn’t have got this award without them.
“I’m one of those players who have always said that if I get chances, I score goals, and this team create chances left-right and centre.”
