Former Wigan Athletic star makes Norwich move

The 23-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan with Latics from Premier League Everton, has signed a three-year- deal with the Canaries.

And having previously spent time with Sheffield United, Nottingham Forest and Derby in the second tier, he says he's ideally placed to help the Canaries mount a promotion push.

“I’ve had three seasons in the Championship now. I’ve learned a lot, had good experiences and bad experiences,” he told the club's official website.

“I got promoted with Sheffield United and got relegated with Wigan Athletic so I’ve seen it all so far.

“It was really sad the way it ended at Wigan, because we were unreal from when I joined in January all the way to the end of the season.

“We didn’t quite make it in the end, but it was a positive end to the season performance-wise.”
