VIDEO INTERVIEW: Jenny Meadows on winning another World Championships bronze... 11 years later
Former athlete Jenny Meadows this week took deliver of a World Championship medal - from more than a decade ago.

The ex-Wigan Harrier claimed a bronze medal at the 2009 Worlds in the 800m.
And she now has another bronze from the same event to add to her haul, having been given an upgraded 400m relay bronze. She and her team-mates finished fourth in the race but have since been nudged up in the results in the wake of the Russian doping scandal.

Hide Ad"I never thought I'd be receiving another medal from that Championship," said Meadows. "I remember just being proud to being part of that relay team, we came fourth and I thought, 'That's alright'."
While pleased with the upgrade, she admitted: "At the moment I don't have an affinity with this medal because it's only just been given to me."
