Five of Wigan Warriors' fixtures confirmed

Five more of Wigan Warriors' Super League fixtures have been confirmed.

The clubs knew their schedule from the start of the season but the exact days and times have only been locked in as the campaign has unfolded, due to the pandemic.

Games in round nine to 13 - running from the start of June to early July - have all now been confirmed.

Wigan head to Huddersfield on Friday June 11 (7.45pm), and host Hull KR seven days later (7.45pm).

On Thursday, June 24 they head to Wakefield (7.45pm) - none of those three games are scheduled to be shown by Sky Sports.

But their round 12 match at home to Warrington on Wednesday, June 30 (7.45pm) will be televised, as will their trip to St Helens on Sunday, July 4 (7.30pm).

Confirmation came after the Rugby Football League, Super League Europe, Rugby League World Cup 2021 and the Rugby League Players’ Association today add further sporting support to the boycott of social media this Bank Holiday Weekend.

The sport’s governing body and its leading clubs and players will withdraw from key platforms from 3pm on Friday until 1159pm on Monday, to show solidarity with other sports, and amplify the message that nobody should have to suffer abuse, racism or harassment on social media.
