Ryan Sutton wins award at Canberra Raiders - but will miss play-offs
Ryan Sutton has suffered a huge blow after being ruled out of Canberra’s play-offs campaign.
The former Wigan prop, 25, sustained an injury to his MCL which requires a recovery time of up to eight weeks.
He has been ever-present for Ricky Stuart’s side since round five and his efforts during the year were acknowledged when he was awarded the 2020 Coaches Award by the Raiders management.
Canberra host Cronulla on Saturday in an elimination final in a game likely to feature George Williams and John Bateman.
